    Robinette. White sturgeon caught in an eddy off shore from Carl Miller's Robinette Forwarding Co. building, 1948. 8' 9" long and 250 lbs. It's hanging in the backyard of the original Robinette homestead house. L-R: Frank Bowman and A. D. Robinette. The Carrithers grocery store stocked extra-strong line for sturgeon fishing. After hooking a sturgeon, fishermen would use a pickup to drag in on shore.
